Dear Aubrey Families,
On behalf of the entire Aubrey staff, I would like to extend a huge thank you to the Aubrey community for your support over the 2021-2022 school year. We appreciate your partnership.
To our Grade 7 students heading off to high school, best wishes! We thank you for your hard work, participation and leadership at Aubrey.
At this time I would like to share a fond farewell to our staff leaving us this year and wish them all the best in their new assignment. Mr. Mealha, Ms. Deane, Ms. McGivern, Ms. Katsionis (maternity leave), Mr. Miotto, Ms. Seah, Ms. Crystal Lee, Ms. Evans and Ms. Belanger.
We are also pleased to announce that Mme Dana Herdman will be our Head Teacher as of September 2022.
The first day back to school for Grade 1-7 students will be Tuesday, September 6th for one hour- 8:45- 9:45 am for French program and 9-10 am for English program. Students will return to current classroom. For the remainder of the week, student will participate in community building activities that support developing positive connections. We are excited to have a Hip hop Guest instructor with us .
Class placements will not be known or finalized until Monday, September 12th. At that time, your child’s new teacher will share information about school supplies and whether they will be asking for a $30 payment or sending home a supply list for you to purchase. Stay tuned for more information regarding school supplies.
I will communicate with you again in late August with more details about our opening week. Have a fabulous summer!
