The Burnaby School District has a district-wide Code of Conduct. To review this document, please click here.

École Aubrey Elementary also has a local Code of Conduct which guides all of us in the community (students, staff and parents) to be responsible citizens. It says:

CONDUCT
Right: We have the right to work, learn and play in a safe educational environment
Responsibility: We will conduct ourselves in a responsible manner at all times.

PROPERTY
Right: We have the right to protection of school and personal property.
Responsibility: We will respect the property of others.

SAFETY
Right: We have the right to physical and emotional safety at all times.
Responsibility: We will conduct ourselves in a manner that respects the physical and emotional well-being of others.

WORK/TIME
Right: We have the right to an environment that is conductive to the proper completion of our work.
Responsibility: We will complete our work on time and to the best of our ability.

RESPECT & COURTESY
Right: We have the right to be treated respectfully and courteously.
Responsibility: We will conduct ourselves in a courteous and respectful manner while taking part in all school activities.

CULTURAL DIFFERENCES
Right: We have the right to have our culture, religion and language treated with respect.
Responsibility: We will treat others with respect, regardless of cultural, religious or language differences.

SPORTSMANSHIP
Right: We have the right to participate in an environment which presents good sportsmanship.
Responsibility: We will demonstrate good sportsmanship.

We the members of the Aubrey Elementary School community, agree that a safe school is a priority.
