Skating at Kensington Arena – Division 2, 4 & 6.
Students from Mr Costa, Ms Lavorata and Ms Gillen’s class will go skating at the Kensington complex in Burnaby. The purpose of this fieldtrip is to improve the students skating skills and to do some physical education.
The cost of the trip is $13.67 per student. Payment is to be made with online cash.
Students will walk to the Kensington complex at 6159 Curtis street in Burnaby. There will be 9 adults supervising the students. Students will be able to rent skates. It is recommended to bring your child’s own helmet if possible.
The dates of the fieldtrip are:
Friday, January 27th , 2023, 1:15pm to 2:15pm
Wednesday, February 1st , 2023, 1:15pm to 2:15pm
Wednesday, February 22nd , 2023, 1:15pm to 2:15pm
Wednesday, March 1st, 2023, 1:15pm to 2:15pm
Safety:
A CSA approved hockey helmet or a snow sports helmet is highly recommended. Long socks are highly recommended. Students needs to bring gloves and mittens.
Behavior:
Students are expected to be respectful to others and follow the rules related to the Kensington complex to ensure everyone is safe.
