Dear Parents and Guardians of Grades 4, 5, 6, and 7 students,
We are pleased to see that your child has shown interest in participating on Aubrey’s Cross Country Team! Joining Cross Country is an excellent opportunity for your child to develop their athleticism, sportsmanship, communication skills, and respect for others.
All players are expected to attend morning practices and afterschool Cross Country meets with proper P.E. clothing, appropriate footwear, and a positive attitude. Our team practices will be Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:15am-8:45pm rain or shine. Your child should meet the coaches on Aubrey’s upper gravel field for practice in weather appropriate clothing and proper footwear for running. In addition to practicing this year, we are very fortunate to have Cross Country Meets at Burnaby Lake East Sports Complex where we will compete against other Burnaby School District schools.
