Students from Mme Marto/Mme Matousek and Mme Detarjany’s class will be going skating at the Kensington complex in Burnaby. The purpose of this field trip is to improve the students skating skills and to do some physical education.
The cost of this trip is $8 per student. Payment is to be made with online cash.
Students will walk to the Kensington complex. Students will be able to rent skates but can bring their own as well. It is recommended that student’s bring their own helmet if they have a ice skating/hockey helmet.
The dates of the field trip are:
Wed Feb 8th and Wed Feb 15th from 10:45 – 11:45
We will leave the school approximately at 10;15am (before recess) so please send your child to school with a pocket snack that they can eat at the rink, while we tie skates. If possible, let your child know what shoe size they wear, as this makes the rental process go faster. We will return in time for lunch.
