Aubrey Elementary – Track Team
Dear Parents and Guardians of Grades 4, 5, 6, and 7 students,
We are pleased to see that your child has shown interest in participating on Aubrey’s Track team! Joining us for Track is an excellent opportunity for your child to develop their athleticism, sportsmanship, communication skills, and respect for others. All players are expected to attend morning practices and afterschool Track meets with proper P.E. clothing, appropriate footwear, and a positive attitude 😊
Our team practices will be Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 8:15am-8:45am RAIN or SHINE. Your child should meet the coaches on Aubrey’s upper gravel field for practice.
In addition to practicing this year, we are very fortunate to have Track Meets at Burnaby North Secondary School where we will compete against other Burnaby School District schools. Our students will walk to Burnaby North from Aubrey and walk back to Aubrey once the track meet is finished.
